- In Lismore, we have two units, each with two bedrooms in “Aberfoyle”, a grand old Lismore home. Built in 1921 as a residence for one of the city’s early business leaders, Aberfoyle has been lovingly restored with comfortable and modern touches. Located on the edge of the leafy suburb of Girards Hill, it’s great for those who like to explore on foot, being close to everything.
- Just outside Lismore, we have a working farm fronting the Wilsons River called “Figtree Bend”.
Our signature property is “The Dairy”, an original milking shed converted into guest accommodation in 2018 with luxury touches to make your stay memorable. Features include an outdoor bathtub, pool table and fireplace for cool winter evenings. You’re welcome to explore “Figtree Bend” and spot koalas on the 100-acre property, renowned for its nature conservation.

Perfect for my 3 night stay to visit my daughter. Walking distance to the township, and across the road from a petrol station/convenience store which was very handy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, good quality towels in the bathroom with a great shower, and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. Netflix was a nice touch too, not that we needed it! No problems with parking, checking in and out, communication during my stay etc, it was perfect. Would definitely book again, hopefully on a regular basis. Thankyou!

We don’t even know where to begin! From the location, the details, the design but most importantly the hospitality. At The Dairy you will get exactly what is advertised and so much more. The home is charming and perfectly located. A short drive to Byron, Ballina and into Lismore for shopping and essentials as well as antiques and culture. Phill was a pleasure to communicate with and we felt so lucky to have someone so willing to go the extra mile. We were offered a late check out and loved the little details of fresh mandarins and eggs from the farm. Bear was an absolute highlight and was such a homely addition to the stay; having him be so gentle and friendly, walking to our door every now and then to say hello and play. Waking up and wandering down to the creek and around the property is such a pleasure with fresh air and lots of native birds to listen to and watch. We loved every moment and would have stayed longer if we could have 🙂 We will be back time and time again. We can’t rate The Dairy highly enough!

“The Dairy”
Charming and comfortable farmstay! The owners have lovingly renovated an old dairy to become a perfect vacation rental. The house is full of character, unique furniture and art, and all of the mod cons. Comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen were great. Then there are all of the bonuses – a pool table, outdoor fire, and an outdoor tub with a great view. Phil was fantastic with communication. I would highly recommend this place!.

The Dairy was everything listed, what all the reviews say, and so much more. We felt like we’d been transported to a magic place… away from the rest of the world and yet everything was so convenient; our hosts thought of everything! Gorgeous location and regeneration, birdsong and breezes in the morning, walks around the farm with wildlife, lovely outdoor space to enjoy, charming hosts, a short drive for anything you need it was the perfect mix of relaxation and recharging, but we were never ever bored. So serene and beautiful. And they are the most wonderfully caring hosts. They have put so much love and care into this place. A beautifully unique fusion of contemporary design, with retro, vintage furnishings. An awesome, outdoor, undercover play space for the kids that can be enclosed with cafe blinds, was perfect to let us get a game of pool in! And the outdoor bath..? Magnifique. I loved my stay here. Would definitely book again.
